This was a prototype for 67 tables ordered by the Taft school of Watertown, Connecticut. ClearLake Furniture of Ludlow, VT, teamed with architects Eric Svahn, AIA, and Matthew Formicola of the award-winning Gund Partnership to design tables that would reflect the new décor of the dining room renovation. The two firms worked together to develop the design to exacting specifications. ClearLake’s owner Brent Karner and one of his master craftsmen, Doug Ficken, ensured that the final result was structurally feasible and sound.
